March 2026 – Our joint webinar with LOHMANNkonzept and HC&S has
clearly shown that structural change in the hospital sector is inevitable.
The crucial question is not whether, but how actively hospitals shape their strategic and economic reorientation.
The discussion made it clear:
• Policy sets the framework; the actual transformation takes place at the hospital level.
• Outdated models of comprehensive, nationwide care are neither economically nor
structurally sustainable in the long term.
• At the same time, economic blind spots often arise where existing cost structures are
not synchronised with future service strategies.
The numerous responses and questions following the webinar have shown just how
great the current need for guidance and dialogue is.
